elder scrolls 4 oblivion

when bethesda said that they wanted to push a game to it's limits, they were not joking around when they released elder scrolls 4 oblivion. elder scrolls games were very popular through pc and with a high demand, #4 came out. the first thing I noticed was how in depth graphics were and how intense it can be. it all starts with you in prison with the emporers sons dead and coincidentally your paths crossed in which you are ordered by him to find his lost heir close the gates to oblivion and save the world. pretty standared stuff but the one thing that I can't emphasize enough is how big the game is. hours of gameplay came close to breaking records aproxomitally 120 hours of gaming, pretty intense stuff. although the graphics on the game are pretty amazing but with such a huge map it will lag a lot as it is broken down to sections of a graph and will take a second to load up. though with a high-end pc it shouldn't be a problem but with crappy pc's and the xbox you better get used to it. the quest in the game will definatly keep you from getting bored as most of the time spent playing will involve in quest. all elder scrolls games were not multiplayer and it doesn't change with oblivion just because of mix up in areas bought, other people finishing a previous quest and so on making havoc in the game. leveling up in the game is very different from other games as in the beginning you choose 7 classes that you want consider the best out of 22 and every time you do something corresponding to that class you get a level up if level up 10 times in your major classes you can increase your stats to survive even longer and after certain amount of levels your items that you find also get an upgrade. the combat system is good enough that you will want to look for a fight most of the time as it can prove difficult but keeps you in the moment. you can use all kinds of weapons from swords to daggers, from axes to hammers, bows and magic. the combat goes even further in as you can use certain types of potions to save you from the brink or you can use poisons and run to let the poison do the dirty work. on a sidenote, oblivion is the first game ever to have other npc react to eachother and communicate to eachother, it may seem not all that important but it can be worthwhile to listen in. like I said this game is very addicting and if you purchase a copy be ready to stay on that couch and miss a meal or two as you never want to leave, always wanting to know what will happen next. I rate this game to be a perfect 10.
